The Foundation invests exclusively its own resources. There is no fund, no vintage, no external mandate to satisfy and no capital being sought. That single fact determines everything else about how we behave: what we choose to study, how long we wait, and how quietly we hold.
Our attention is concentrated on five domains where technical progress and sovereign interest intersect — intelligence, defence, biology, financial infrastructure and digital settlement. In each we prefer the layer beneath the visible one: the instruments, rails, materials and standards that outlive the products built upon them. The house keeps its seat in the Gulf; its attention is global.
We were formed by a working life that began in one century and produced its first realisation early in the next. What we learned there we now apply with a longer clock and a smaller circle.
